We then loaded up our heavy boxes of sandwiches along with a few toiletry packs we’d made up and joined We Feed the Homeless Philly in Love Park. We helped distribute sandwiches, fresh fruit, and beverages to hungry Philadelphians. Luckily for everyone the weather cooperated.

The dedicated organizers of We Feed the Homeless Philly organize and provide a healthy free meal every Saturday to Philadelphia’s Homeless citizens. They strive to serve these meals with dignity and respect for the individuals receiving them. UC Kiwanis intends to work with We Feed the Homeless Philly again in the future so if you would like to get involved with this project please let us know!
